This work is an infographic that contemplates the future of architecture from 2020 to 2050 through five analytical frameworks—“Institutional Framework,” “Collective Memory,” “Construction and Deconstruction,” “Decay and Material Circularity,” and “Politics of Heritage.” By raising fundamental questions on architectural continuity and dismantling, civic rights and institutional mechanisms, cycles of material reuse, digital transformation and the problem of records, as well as the politics of heritage and assets, the work invites us to perceive architecture not merely as a physical construct but as a critical arena for envisioning social and cultural futures.

KAA(Korean Architecture Archive, 한국건축아카이브)는 시대별로 드러난 한국 건축의 정체성과 의미를 발굴하고, 오늘의 시각에서 새롭게 조명하는 건축 기획·연구 집단이다. 기획한 전시 및 프로그램으로는 <인간과 손: 엑스포67 한국관의 흔적> (주캐나다한국문화원, 2024), <힐튼서울 자서전 사전포럼> (피크닉, 2025)이 있다. 전진홍과 최윤희는 리서치 기반 건축 스튜디오 바래(BARE)의 공동 설립자이며, 국립도시건축박물관 전시 부감독으로도 활동하고 있다.
Korean Architecture Archive (KAA) is a research and curatorial group committed to exploring the identity and significance of Korean architecture in a global context and shedding new light on it from a contemporary perspective. Their past exhibitions and programs include Man and Hands: Traces of the Korean Pavilion at Expo '67 (Korean Cultural Centre Canada, 2024) and Hilton Seoul Autobiography Pre-Forum (Piknic, 2025). KAA was co-founded by Jinhong Jeon and Yunhee Choi, who are also directors of BARE, a research-based architecture studio and serve as Deputy Directors for the inaugural exhibitions at the Korean Museum of Urbanism and Architecture.
